Breast-feeding is on the Rise
According to recent research by the World Health Organization (W.H.O) when it comes to feeding your baby, Breast is Best. Americans are responding to this recommendation in greater numbers. According to the Center for Disease Control (C.D.C.) in 2000, only 71% of moms began breastfeeding their newborns, 34% breastfed their 6-month-olds, and almost 16% breastfed their 1-year-old as compared to 2004 by which time, nearly 74% of U.S. moms began breastfeeding their newborns, about 42% breastfed their 6-month-olds, and 21% breastfed their 1-year-olds. It is not always easy or practical for mothers, especially working mothers, to breastfeed their babies.
Home and workplace support, public perception and discretion are just some of the many factors that can sway breastfeeding decisions. Finding stylish clothes that make nursing fashionable yet discrete can help provide nursing mothers with the option to breastfeed while maintaining their active schedule - helping them to continue to provide the best Breast sustenance for their nursing baby.
